Hooper is a seasoned interior designer and the master-mind behind HPID. Hooper's approach to design marries the client's vision with beauty, form and function. Specializing in space planning, furnishings and finishes, homes created by HPID are not only unique and stunning, but a reflection of the families that inhabit them. As a wife and mother of three, Hooper understands the importance of living comfortably in your own home.
Whether it is new construction or a renovation, Hooper works seamlessly with architects and builders to ensure a full-service experience that results in a move-in ready masterpiece.
With almost two decades of experience, Hooper has curated exceptional resources and relationships within the design industry. Her beautifully appointed studio is not only inspiring, but equipped to invoke a bespoke design process.
Hooper's projects are as diverse as her client's style, geography and budget. Her style, has been described as "traditional with a twist" and includes a "current, yet timeless, Southern bent." She has been recognized as a top designer by Southern Living Magazine and her work has been featured in several national and local publications including Architectural Digest and HGTV Magazine.
Although Hooper has designed spaces all over the country from Chicago to New York to Florida, she calls Wilmington "home".

Shelby Aguilar
Interior Designer & Marketing
Shelby, a talented interior designer at HPID, is devoted to delivering the best possible client experience. She has a keen eye for detail and is responsible for selecting interior finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories. She also creates renderings that help bring her clients' visions to life. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Shelby attended Liberty University where she earned a Bachelor of Interior Design and a Minor in Business.
Her extensive travels throughout Italy and Europe have inspired her love for classical beauty, which she incorporates into her designs. Shelby is passionate about achieving comfort, sophistication, and a touch of the unexpected in every project. She has a unique talent for merging design technology with the individual preferences of her clients to create personalized and stunning designs.
Shelby is known for her ability to blend different styles and elements together to produce a visually appealing and cohesive space. Whether it's a modern apartment or a family home, Shelby approaches each project with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication. She takes great care in listening to her clients' needs and preferences, working closely with them throughout the design process to ensure that every detail is just right.
Hope Davis
Operations
Hope has been an integral part of the HPID team for the past two years, ensuring that operations run smoothly. She received her degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University and has extensive technical knowledge of design software.
Hope's expertise in space planning, rendering, and overseeing design projects has made her an invaluable asset to the team. Her meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and innovative thinking set her apart. Hope keeps HPID running smoothly while overseeing everything from the first proposal to the arrival of the last piece of furniture on a home installation.
Her professionalism, sunny disposition and exceptional client services create a full-service experience resulting in happy clients residing in happy homes.
kim Shovlin
Interior Designer
Kim believes design is a collaborative experience and process that reveals individual client stories. Prior to joining the HPID team three years ago, Kim spent over ten years as part of the design & development team at Ralph Lauren Corporate in NYC. This experience is the foundation for her immersive & lifestyle focused design style.
Kim specializes in new construction design & project management as well as interior design for the hospitality industry. Her experience & proven process allows her to provide structure and support streamlining the new build process for clients and seamlessly interfacing with each custom builder's process. Kim is committed to working closely with our cultivated team of experts & vendors during every phase of design & execution. Focusing on communication, innovative design and elevating each project's individual design through every detail.
